Well, I must say, from the first two tracks I've heard "White Trash Millionaire" and "Blame It On the Boom Boom" it sound's pretty damn sweet. I'm lookin' forward to hearin' the full album. I will tell you this, "White Trash Millionaire" has a great rockin' beat, great lyrics, perfect job all around by BSC and a great music video. As I mentioned I have also heard "Blame It On the Boom Boom" which is a pretty damn good song in its own right. Still give the edge to "...Millionaire". Hope you watch the video and enjoy. Every Dying Day

Ok, so this band, Every Dying Day, I first heard of after they started following me on Twitter, so I had to give them a listen. I'll tell you up front, based on five songs for free download on their profile on ReverbNation.com, not bad. They're a small band from the hot and sunny Phoenix, Arizona.

The pros, a good, solid, hard sound. Good vocals, good musicians, good songs. The cons, the overall sound has that of a typical small time band, one song in particular. I personally enjoyed all their songs, some more than others. But the song "ENVY" has the sound of a band producing a song for about $100. The song itself isn't bad, but the sound of the vocals just bothers me. I mean, he's a good singer, but it's just the quality of the production on this track, it's not good. I think I could have done better, mind you, I've never produced, mixed or recorded music in my life. If I were the boys, I would go back and re-record the song.

I have to say, I love the beginning of "Pumkin Patch", it's really groovy, I just wish it lasted longer. And on this song, for some reason, the vocals remind me, somewhat, of Marylin Manson, in a good way. However, the song features my biggest gripe in music, the name of the song is not mentioned oNCE in the song itself. I don't get that. Next up is "Morning Breath", who's intro makes me think of a song that should be on a video game soundtrack. The chorus is go a great flow to it, love it. The song has sound bits that remind you of some off of Rob Zombie's Hellbilly Deluxe. Next up "My Everything". It's starts out with kind of a poppy feel, not really my thing, but it changes up a bit. I'll admit the chorus is harder than the start of the song would allude too, this is a plus. I would have to say, of the five, this is one of their better songs. And lastly "Note to Self", starts with a hard indie rock feel. Put it this way, if you were to sing along to this song, you would need to write a note to yourself to have cough drops ready, you'd have a sore throat. The lyrics are kind of shouted throughout the song, not that it's a bad thing, it's the song's character. This is probably a middle-of-the road song, at best.

Stoker 7

Stoker 7 is a three piece rock band from Glenville, West Virginia. They consist of Dustin Wagoner on vocals and guitar, Joe Park on bass guitar, and Tyson Price on drums. The band has been playing college towns all around West Virginia for the past few years, and draw influences from various straight-forward rock trios of the past. They have a sound that reminds you of classic rock from such bands as The Eagles. I would honestly say that Stoker 7 is one of the few true rock bands out there. They are a rare band live, they actually sound good live rather than some bands who can't live up to the album live. The live video of them performing "Let It All Go" at Trezans, a bar in Glenville, West Virginia.

The band may be small, but the sound is big. I highly recommend this band to any fan of straight out rock. I give Stoker 7 a four out of five.

Trash Rock Kings

Trash Rock Kings are and indie rock band and one of the bright spots in the rock scene today. Their brand of rock is basically nitro fueled, as they've described it themselves. They have a sound that is incredible. It's fast and sleazy, blues based, fun rock, with a significant southern influence (their from Austin, Texas). These guys are headed for the top. I was recently introduced to the band through their MySpace page. I thought they had a unique name so I gave them a listen and was completely impressed. They are true rock 'n roll. I got the chance to listen to their album She Said Yeah and I must say the album is full of great songs. It ranges from the faster title track to the slower songs such as "Drawn". You also have to love how Jeffro sucks up to his wife on the track "Dynamite", smart man. This album is going to be one of the hottest albums to be released this year, I know it. This album will appeal to the entire rock 
community as a whole. My personal favorite tracks off the album would have to be, "Line Forms Here", "She Said Yeah", and "Beer." I highly recommend this album to everyone who likes rock music. It's easy to say that when you listen to the Trash Rock Kings, you'll defenitely want to have a cold case of beer around. This is an album that will be in hundrads of jukeboxes in bars all across America. To quote Garageband.com this album will "...make you want to get drunk and start a bar fight."

The album She Said Yeah was released on August 15, 2008 on eMusic.com. I give this album 4 3/4 stars out of five. This album is as close to perfect as I've heard in years. I give TRK 4 3/4 out of five. When they tour in all 50 states they'll have earned a perfect score. And of course, if you know anyone that likes rock music, shoot them my way, and let them have a read. Who knows, someone might find a new favorite band.

Soul Bomb

Soul Bomb is hard rock band from, of all places, Gatineau-Ottawa, Ontario Canada. The band is lead by lead singer, Ian Bouchard (who strangely looks ALOT like Dane Cook), Mathieu "Math" Menard on bass, Paul "Laffy" Lafrenière on guitar, and Jack MacGregor on drums.

Soul Bomb blends electronica, hard rock, metal, into a unique sound. I know you've heard bands that blend the same stuff together, but Soul Bombis different. They do it with a style that's uniquely their own. Their MySpace page lists their influences, but I can honestly say that they do NOT sound more like one specific influence. If you didn't know they listed their influences, you wouldn't have a clue who any of them where.

Soul Bomb has only been together since, January 2006, so it's too early to tell what the future will hold for this band, however I do know one thing, their only going to get better. The have already released one album 2006's independent release Broken Down Angel. Which spawned the single and video which was filmed in conjunction with Kids Help Phone. The band has such a following and has had some success with their debut album, they were chosen to be featured on episode 81 of Capital Rock Show a podcast from Ottawa, Canada, that plays mosty rock, and metal music, mostly music you can't hear on the radio.

The band plans to release a new album sometime in 2008. Soul Bomb fans will are anxiously awaiting the new album to see what else the band can do at such an early stage in their career. From the four tracks that I have heard from the band, I'm looking forward to see what they can do with the gained experience, gigs, and with a record label, once they get signed. I see good things happening to this group of guys.

I give Soul Bomb 3 1/2 stars out of five. I recommend the band to anyone who likes music similar to Rammstein but not quite as hard.
